Maslow Consulting was founded in 1998 - through the Asian financial crisis - by international professionals from Malaysia, Japan, and the United States. The firm was named after Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, a deliberate framing for an HR practice built on human potential. Datuk Dr Siraj Khan is Group CEO.
2008 - Maslow achieved HRD Corp registered training provider status, the highest government training accreditation in Malaysia, enabling HRD Corp claim benefits for clients across SBL Khas and HRDC Plus schemes. This followed the UKAP accreditation in 2007.
The international expansion happened in two waves. 2015 - Bhutan and Indonesia (same year as the SME 100 Award). 2024 - United States, with Michael Kuhns as Business Liaison. Today Maslow operates across four countries: Malaysia, Bhutan, Indonesia, and the United States.
